Hi. I was Silver 2 at the end of Season 6 and my MMR is Gold 5 right now. I've heard from some people that they are getting lower ranks than they were before, despite having high MMR and doing good in placements. Do you guys think I'll get Silver 2-Gold 5 or something lower?
Most actual gold Vs will get placed silver 3 or lower too. The MMR reset roughly drops your mmr by a whole rank.
youll most likely get silver 1 maybe even the dreaded gulp bronze 3

Remember, op.gg and similar don't have your actual MMR, and are merely estimates.
Estimates which are most likely wrong at this time of year when people don't have many games played post-mmr reset.
My buddy was gold 3 last season and got places silver 4 going 6-4 in placements.
