I finished Platinum 3 last season with a decent mmr.My last RANKED game was around at the start of preseason.Today i won my first provisional game and i got placed Silver 1....
While i understand that i haven't been playing any ranked games for the last 1 and half months is it normal that i got placed silver 1?
It's pretty normal. You should be getting like 30 LP per win though since your MMR should be pretty high based off your last season's MMR and depending on how your placements went. You MMR is probably around mid-high gold level, so there is a pretty decent chance you will skip a view divisions too.
That's a worst case. You have to lose the next 9 to see that. Slant in placements is pretty dramatic. I had 50-30 LP during placements on wins.
