His q is ridiculous and needs to be reworked. Any semi-decent player can get massive stacks even when dying more than the other top laner. Once mid to late game rolls around a pure tank nasus can 1v1 anyone, and can often 1v2 or 1v3 people no problem. Tank's shouldn't be able to do this much damage, they shouldn't be able to out dps everyone else.

Cenobite Azaziel1 votesJust a tip. Nasus ISN'T ypur traditional tank. Tanks generally have aoe Cc. See malphite with the slow, ASPD debuff, AOE stun. Nasus has ONE single target slow. Nasus is a fighter , a carry. He is fine if you know how to play vs him.
thePandev1 votesHis only CC is a single target AS + MS Slow, so how is he a tank? Tanks have peel, Which Nasus has very little of. A fed Lucian, Graves or Vayne will destroy a Nasus because he is so kitable as well. Just pick up a mercurial to get out of his W and then the only ability he has is his Q. And if you pick a champion top that doesn't scale well late game then that's your fault. He isn't even in teamfights until 16 maybe 15, and you should just force teamfights until then, and if he enters with TP he won't be strong enough to do anything.

People at mid-high elo hate playing with Nasus because he is useless for the first 40 minutes, and the enemy team will be competent enough to close the game out before Nasus becomes relevant.

That's not the case IMO. Just because people like to stack defensive CDR items at first to maximize stacks ... That's a choice you could build like anyone else and be just as viable early game at the cost of a few stack. Hell still be able to 1v1 anyone come mid game.
