Hey guys, Phane Sorter here back from the dead.

Take Ignite over Teleport, you're here to 1v5 carry not babysit bot lane.

Start Doran's Ring, Corrupting Potion is a troll item.

The %damage Masteries are broken on Swain, if you don't abuse this you're either stupid or don't own Swain and there's no reason not to own Swain when he's this broken.

ROA>Sorc's>Void>Zhonya's. I forgot what my 5th item is because the game is usually over at this point.

Start e and autoattack, repeat a few times and they probably die. Skip w at lvl 3, that ability is OP but it sucks compared to rank 2 e.

Splitpush top until you get 2nd tier turret then go mid until the game is won. ~25 min game tops. When you hit level 6 you can 1v3 because your ult hits 3 people. If you're fed enough you can 1v4 or 1v5 because your e and q will kill 1 person each and your ult will continue to get the other 3.

I accidentally pressed EQ on the same person instead of spreading them apart between two different people and I overkilled one while one other guy lived and my 1v5 went kind of badly, any advice?

Natural talent isn't really worth it, max level you get less AP than you would from an amp tome, doesn't really add much for damage.

Games never last that long with this setup, and the other mastery is garbage unless you're an AD or Vlad. Also, we aren't really caring much for the AP from Natural Talent, it gives 1 ad per 2 levels, and your damage is multiplied immensely with the %dmg bonus masteries and your e. It gives noticeable damage in lane, trust me.

Thats why this post is a noob trap swain is useless when he's top can't split push or tank dmg

im guessing your below gold swain isnt hard to deal with even as ryze you can 100-0 swain no problem at level 3

swain offers nothing for his team and is a psuedo tank with no mobility malphite, gnar etc. provide decent cc and peel

swain is required to walk in the frontline to do dmg with the buff in recent itemization towards ad your better off playing stronger champion

The statistics are from this season and this season alone. What are you talking about?

Unfortunately, Garen would get destroyed by Swain early because Swain has a ton of DOT and a root, and Swain has range on Garen, same with Mundo. This season, if someone gets destroyed early, and then that fed guy starts roaming and spreads his "love" to the rest of the map, making other people fall behind. I got a chuckle from a couple of your points, I thought it was helpful and comical.

Ryze is too difficult and takes too much practice for my liking (thats just me), and Darius is overrated.

I still miss the trinket upgrades, rip.

what about death-fire grasp? in my experiences this season on swain i think it is great for those fights in the laning phase and during team fights. you can just e one person and follow them around and maybe need to ignite or w them while using spells on other people. the dot helps spread out and amplify your damage a lot in my experiences as swain, i am just wondering: why do you take thunder-lords?

DFT is superior mid/late game, no doubt about it. Thunderlord's is superior early game. This setup is entirely built around countering melee ads, keep that in mind.

Good post, thank you.

I just lost a game with Swain, I had Deathfire Touch. It clearly does much less damage than TD when you break it down and do your maths.

Precision gives you a lot more magic pen as well, even if you're not building it.

I like i'. I like i' a lo'.
