[ITEM SUGGESTION]Link of Preservation - Band of Preservation - Potion of Preservation

I was advised to post my suggestion in the NA forums, as it'd get more exposure here, so there you go. The whole post is pretty much copied and pasted from the original.

No, this is not a very derpy name, it's actually three items with the same active effect. I couldn't decide on one, so, there you go, a selection of three.

Link of Preservation •Recipe : Chain Vest + Null-Magic Mantle + Giant's Belt •Total Cost: 3250 G •+500 Health •+50 Armor •+30 Magic Resistance •UNIQUE Active - Preservation: Click on an ally Champion to immediately swap places with them. If they are under the effects of any channeled spells or debuffs, these switch over to you for their remaining duration. You also gain 20 Armor and Magic Resistance for 3 seconds (120 second cooldown)

Band of Preservation •Recipe : Ruby Crystal •Total Cost: 800 G •+200 Health •UNIQUE Active - Bond of Preservation: Click on an ally Champion that also possesses Band of Preservation to consume both items, increasing both Champions' maximum health by 200 (permanently) and Bond with that Champion. If one of the Champions already has 200 bonus health from a previous Band of Preservation, it will not stack with this bonus health. After Bonding, both Champions can Ctrl-Click on their Bonded, immediately switching places with them. Any buffs, debuffs or channeled spells that affect either Champion are transferred to the other for their remaining duration. This can only happen once every 120 seconds.

Potion of Preservation •Cost: 150 G •Duration: 300 seconds •Effect: While under the effects of Potion of Preservation, any ally can Ctrl-Click on you to immediately swap places with you. Any debuffs and channeled spells that affect you are transferred to them for their remaining duration. Swapping places with an ally consumes the potion, ending its duration.

I envisioned an item such as this from the New Dawn trailer, where Leona gets between Ahri and Darius' ult. Link of Preservation is a blue magical tiara, Band is a ring and Potion is a deep blue potion. Using the active in any of its forms, a player can swap places with a weaker ally, getting hit by the brunt of the attack, but also placing them in the middle of the fight. So, you could sacrifice your self to save your carry, switching with them when they are in a Malzahar ult, about to be hit by Caitlyn (yes, Cait's ult would be considered a debuff until it hit, and the target would be changed), or, if you're really fast, getting in their place as Darius ults them (which is considered a channel until it hits). You could also get your carry in the brunt of a fight, if the enemies are weakened enough, ensuring a few kills for your team, or get them out of the way or to a better position, while you hold back the enemies. Of course, I see the troll potential in this item, so I tried to limit it a bit. Link of Preservation is a pricy item that's only really worth it if you're supporting. Band of Preservation needs both players' consent to switching place, and Potion of Preservation is a "do what you want with me" card in the hands of a carry. I'd really only see the last one in premade teams. Note that the second item, Band of Preservation, transfers both buffs and debuffs, while the others only transfer debuffs. This is intentional, since either player can trigger Band's effect, while with the others, the weaker champions are at the mercy of the stronger ones, so whoever decides to swap with them gets the brunt of the assault as well, while the weaker ones keep their buffs. Note that I used Ctrl-Click on the cases there isn't an item to activate, so that nobody would do that on accident.

Thoughts?

EDIT: After McAteer's input, I considered the range, which I would deem around 600. For reference, check out this image. 600 is 50 units shorter than Cait's range.
