Plat Promos
My goodness lord why is the system like this??
I been sayin this a long time but the ranked system is rigged, and the promos are worse! Now that I've been doing Plat promos, its even worse......
People say promos should be harder than normal games, but adding in artificial difficulty is not the way to do it. The average MMR on both teams hardly reflect the true outcome of the game. As soon as I get into promos, I'm getting tilted adcs whose been losing all day, getting autofilled supports with said adc, 30% win rate mid lanes, and of course, smurfs/win streakers on the other side.
I don't mind if the game pitches me against players who are of higher skill than normal. But what is very clear to me is that the game artificially create difficulty through tilted players and smurfs. Both of which are extremely unpleasant to play with/against. A Diamond smurf with 80% winrate? He's currently gold 1 mmr after winning 17 games straight so hes in. 55% winrate gold 1 midlane? lets put him in support role with an adc on a 7 game loss streak.
This information is clear to see if you spend 2 minutes looking at OP.GG every game. The MMR says its gonna be a close game. But across the board, you will get FAR MORE bad players, tilted players, players playing new champions, bad duos and autofills on your team.
Two sides to this. First, these games are hard to win. Second, being a human, I get tilted when I see the team fall apart after 3 minutes into the game. So I take the loss, leave, come back the next day and continue the game. Same shit again. I don't know if there is a rule saying you must do the promo series 5 times before Riot decides you can actually get promoted, but it sure as hell feel like the system trying its god damn best to make me lose my games.
This is a terrible system that pisses people off. This is what makes League so toxic. I know this is just a rant, but if you care about the people playing your game riot, even just a little bit, fix the ranked system.
Stop using tilt as a tool to balance winrate.
