Honor Leveling Is Unbalanced and Takes Too Long.

I started honor 3 this season and still only have two checkpoints. I have some friends who I know are toxic by playing with them and them telling me yet some of them are honor 4 before me. I literally tell my team "gj" or "nj" or whatever literally anytime someone does something good and I'm always positive heading into the game. Why is that? I think the honor point system is kinda messed up.
