"1 shotting"
i remember first starting this game not knowing that a combo is considered 1 shotting but now these days people consider a finisher after a bad trade 1 shotting so what does 1 shotting mean anymore?

It's 100% to 0% hp in one combo. As in wow that fizz just one shot me.
I never understood it either. Like people going "omg full lethality
one shot" when they go in and deal like 3/4ths of an adc's health with his e and than finish him off with q aa. or they do get the one shot with
but they're like 20/0 and everyone on the team and their mom is fed af.
I think the term has more to do with the input to time ratio between initiation and execution.
It's not literal, but rather, it refers to how much chance you have to prevent death relative to how long it takes to die.
So if a champion took 10 seconds to kill you, but hard CCed you for 9 of those seconds, people would probably consider that a "1-shot".
So even though it might take fizz 3 seconds to kill you now after landing an ult. People still consider his kills "1-shot", because the the you only had a small window to avoid the kill (that of the ult skill shot), relative to the total time it takes to die.
One shotting is when I play full AP amumu and destroy everything.
Yes I'm shit at league
