i legit think it is not a skill shot because it is a extened portion of oriannas champion, it does all the work/damage. It moves where it pleases at will and where you point it will go there, but my friends say its a skill shot but wiki says its a ground target AoE and i really want to know what is really is.
Shiroi Kitsune2 votesIt's a skill-shot. If it were a point and click ability, it would follow and hit whatever target you had clicked on. For instance, if you have clicked the ball on a Lucian and he dashed, the ball would follow him, and still hit.

YCitizenSnipsY1 votesMost people define skills as point and click because they are impossible to miss with. Patheons Q is point and click because you will always "land" that spell, it is still possible to miss the target with Orianna's Q.

Quepha1 votesWhen people say "point and click" in this game, they mean a targeted ability. Technically everything in this game is "point and click" but non-targeted abilities are usually dodgeable and require more skilled aiming mechanics on the part of the player using it.
Lucian's Q is kind of weird since the target is selected like a targeted ability, but the aoe it fires out is actually dodge-able like a skillshot.
