Why the hell did I still get autofilled when I picked Support as my primary role??????

Sorry for my bad English, I'm a mid main who usually queue up for mid/bot for 3/4 games in a row and then sup/mid for one game to avoid being filled into jungle (which is my worst role btw, I always feed my ass off whenever I have to play it). So today I still got filled into jungle despite queueing up for sup/mid, I politely asked my teamates to swap lanes as my jungle knowdledge is extremely limited but no one seemed to care so I picked Maokai because my team had no tanks, of course I lost that game badly and my entire team flamed me for playing like a potato. I really don't understand why I still got filled, I thought this feature exists due to the lack of support players, so by that logic I should get autofill protected when I choose to support.

Because Riot is incredibly bad at producing updates the community wants to see

probably because no one wants to play jungle anymore.

Shit happened to my duo a year ago but it was even more weird: she choosed Supp and Fill and he got MID.

Like, I doubt I will ever see that again.

The system was designed v Because they were lacking support player. Support is like the second or third most popular role now because it's overpowered as fuck right now. Top was the least played since the beginning of the season and jungle is the least played ATM.

Because when the jungle role is forced to pick graves/xinzhao every game or lose and if they make 1 mistake they fall 3 levels behind the opposing jungler well, nobody wants to play jungle.
