FINISHERS WILL BE BAD FOR THIS GAME! Poll to keep or remove

Riot is adding finishers. For an example.. If you kill someone an iceberg flys out from where they die, or they explode into flames when they die. This will confuse players & not be good for a game like LoL. This concept is fine in other games, but not MOBA. For all I know that is a champion ability that I didn't dodge because I thought it was an finisher or vice versa. PLEASE do not put these in the game. Everything else you guys are doing for next season is amazing. But this is a TERRIBLE idea. What do you guys think?

Edit: Catsith's suggestion is just make it like eye candy option on summoners rift. People who want to see the finishers can turn it on, and ones who don't can turn it off.

If you really don't like it then petition to have an option to turn it off, don't ruin it for other people.

They did this in URF this year and it wasn't bad.

I think those are for an event coming up, like they had those during urf last year, so they're probably temporary, it'd be really bad if they were permanant tho

Its being used for an exhibition game (all star game i think) but won't be permanent in normal queue. It will go away when the mini-event ends.

I guess we should also remove the 1v1 option because that doesn't fall under Multiplayer Online Battle Arena genre.

Personally I don't think they affect the game that much. They have a specific animation and design, (pretty different from Lissandra's or Trundle's spells). They happen instantly on death, so if you can't differentiate actual spells in the game from cosmetic additions to the game then you either haven't been playing the game for very long or are pretty slow in game.
