I 1 vs 1 a rek' sai with phage while i have pickaxe and longsword plus my summoner skills were exhaust and ignite while his were just ignite and flash. his flash didn't really help him since i e'd him after he flashed. we both ended up dying. later on we 1vs1 and he won without using his ult. obviously rek is op. he has an escape, map control, and better dmg. he is clearly better than xin. also note that xin is a really strong dueler i am plat ii and he is gold ii
"won without usnig his ult" you mean that actually contributed to the fight the first time?

maybe ur just bad?
Rek sai is supposed to win in prolonged engages because of true damage bite. Your 3 talon strike is the same as her queen's wrath. Just her's has a lower cooldown. Also being plat 2 means nothing with xin, he's a brain dead champion. You just right click on the enemy champion. Rek sai excels in melee combat. What xin has over her is easier and better engages with a point and click dash as opposed to her skillshot dash. Your 3 strike also knocks people up unlike hers which just does massive damage. You have more utility and lock down on carries, she is just designed to fight people like you.
my bad for pointing out rek is better than xin its already obvious because in ranked jungle who the hell is xin. she has a knock up and slow just like xin while doing more dmg in aoe and in true dmg. she also lanes better and have more utility. i mean shes already been nerfed 2 times in consecutive patches
