@Riot Current State of Hyper Carries

Hey guys, Just wanted to see what everyone's current opinion is on hyper carries, and what their future looks like. I cannot for the life of me remember where, but I saw a rioter mention something about them looking at this. Hoping they can chime in for more insight.

As an adc main, my favorite champs are Trist, Kog, and Jinx, but as is I find it's harder to really contribute unless the game manages to go late game.

This meta moves a lot quicker, and I find I'm having trouble making a noticeable impact compared to other champions like Lucian and Sivir. With those two, I find that once I get my first item, I'm pretty much set and good to go. With my Essence Reaver, I can leave lane for a bit, and help mid or top secure some kills and head back to bot just protect tower.

With the likes of Trist and Kog, I'm forced to stay in lane longer to farm until I have at LEAST ie and zeal. I miss out on early team fights since I can't contribute much. This faster meta makes me a lot more dependent on my teammates, or at least hoping they don't feed while I'm down bot.
