Can we have a Tryndamere ult timer?

kooskoo··100 votes·3,690 views

Tryndamere's ult explains that for 5 seconds tryndamere would not die.

I was wondering if it's possible to have that 5 second timer in the game that can be recognized easily

so that both enemy and ally players including the tryndamere play himself knows when his ult will be gone or how much seconds left.

With players who have a lot of experience with tryndamere, they would have some kind of feeling when the ult will be gone,

but it would be better if we can actually visually see trynd's ult.

You do have a timer. It's on his debuff bar.

Isn't there an icon on his buff bar?

Look at that.

It's five seconds. He indicates when the ult begins, so just A. watch the clock, or b. count in your head

Udyr, Braum, and Naut have timers for there stun even though looking at the clock can work too. This would be something similar where he gets a circle

EndlessSorcerer4 votes

Probably not the best comparison since those circles are only visible to the player on that specific champion. At least, I don't think they are visible to allies.

Enemy champion don't have that convenient timer.

Well if they make one it would only be available to the player. The alternative is clicking him and looking at his ult buff.

so that both enemy and ally players including the tryndamere play himself knows when his ult will be gone or how much seconds left.

The OP was asking for a timer which was visible for enemies and allies.

If it was for Tryndamere only, I would have no issues with the idea.

either one can really work. The comparison I used before was with PvP skills. Since the Ulti does not directly ineteract a visual like a circle could work, or make him really red and then turn back to normal after wards

Precedence doesn't mean much in this case. It's a necessity.

  1. They are different abilities - Udyr, Braum, and Naut have a timer because their ability specifically says that it can affect an enemy champion once every X seconds. Tryn does not have this type of ability. And they are player specific - only the player of the champion can see them, not enemies.

  2. Other abilities, like the Zhonyas active, Bard Ult, Kayle Ult, Yorick Ult, Morde Ult, Annie Ult, Kat ult, Fiddle Ult, or any other ability that has a duration dont have timers.

Now, if this was just about a visual, i can agree. Make his entire model turn red or something during the ult. But a timer is different.

I think he already has a visual during his ult.

Udyr Braum and Naut have timers on their abilities because they happen frequently, multiple times per fight.

Not once per fight for 5 seconds.

I agree

People are gonna ask this game to be too easy to the point of us not even having to play it anymore.... Learn the game nuff said....

It's not to make the game easier, just clarity.

click on him it in his buffs list... or i'm the only one who click to see all there buff and hp?

No No No.

It would be convenient, having to look at the enemies' buff bar means you're looking away from where your champion is at, which could very well kill you.

Hawkefire2 votes

Personally I would make it tryndamere and allies only. I think giving the enemy the ability to very easily see when his ult is going to where off would be a tad too strong.

WolfBV2 votes

If it's only visible to Tryndamere then sure, otherwise it's telling enemies when to kill you.

kaltenashes1 votes

i wanna say that too, click on him when you're fighting him, there will be an icon there with a timer...tough a time like Zilean bombs would really come in hand

i wish we could have the timers for enemy ult and summoners when pressing tab, and could work like if someone on the team see the enemy using ult/summoners, the timers are updated for everyone XD

ThePartyLeader1 votes

A visual indicator would be cool but not necessary.

Mathematicals1 votes

I agree if Kayle/Kindred get the same treatment.

Boop Daddy 2 votes

Kindred has a glyph that completes as the ult progresses.

Wimbledofy4 votes

Kabyles ult has a huge visual and is easy to tell when it stops. The visual indication for when trynd ult ends isn't very noticeable

ChaoticPinecone2 votes

i thought he wanted a timer, not just a visual indicator

My Waifu Vanilla1 votes

He wants a timer because the visual for trynd ult isn't very good and noticeable like Kayle ult.

ChaoticPinecone1 votes

A visual indicator i can agree with. A timer i can not.

TotalJerk1 votes

Kayle's ult is so short that it's hardly worth more visual clutter.

Owntrolf1 votes

but a visual indicator does make the game easier You dont need to count :<, Imagine if zilean bomb had no clock counting

A1J01 votes

I think that this could be a good idea, especially if its a circle like Zilean bombs :D

ChewbaccasRear1 votes

Maybe not a timer but a visual, like Zilean's ult has the circle air thing floating above the dead person, so for Tryn, maybe something like his blade glows (sort of linking him more to Aatrox in a sense), or even if they just put like a red circle around him, like an aura or something along those lines that gradually changed or lost color.

BlackBattler1 votes

Click him then watch the timer with his ult icon tick down and ignite. Are you all joking?

Scrimshäw1 votes

yeah, the upper right corner of the screen

YossarianSensei1 votes

Tbh I'm pretty good at telling when his ult is ending just based off which phase of his screamo he's in

TotalJerk1 votes

Hear the scream? Start counting. The amount of visual clutter during a teamfight is bad enough already.

No way...Shouldn't happen at all. Tryndamere is a fighter "Assassin". He mainly split pushes but every once in a while he enters a fight once the enemy is about half health and does cleanup. He whirlwinds through walls, slows you and then kills you. All tryndamere players KNOW their ult timers by "feel" we can call it. They just know when they have to run away. Making part of his mind game visible is bad. The enemy is not supposed to see how long he has left because then they can prepare for it and kill him faster. Tryndamere uses those ults to dive, live another day and play mind games. This is probably the dumbest thing I have read all day.
