What if Syndra's Maxed W empowered the minion it was used on? After the minion is dropped it would start attacking any champions nearby (with a slight buff) but would result in a slight movement speed debuff (as an allied champion wouldn't be able to attack their own minion.)

Alternatively, after Syndra uses her ball with her maxed W, it would leave a small field that would do a little bit of DOT (damage over time.) This would further give her zoning potential, but still allow her to to be counterable.

I don't like having 10 passive abilities attached to every ability button. So no. They should revert previous nerfs and reduce the mana cost of her Q. However, if they decide to rework her, god forbid, I could see them taking the rework in a similar direction, with each max ranked ability doing something special.
