Why I think Voice Communication would benefit Riot and the Players

I think that adding voice comms to ranked flex and ranked solo duo would really help the players gel before a game instead of simply flaming in chat. Another thing is that it is sometimes easier for someone to understand when someone says "mid is mia" or "their jungler is red side, prepare for a possible gank top or mid". These are things that aren't necessarily the easiest for someone to understand simply through pinging. Voice comms in champ select would help the 5 players discuss what kind of composition of champions they are looking for. I feel the overall communication aspect of the game would really add more game value to the players and would possibly bring more people to play League of Legends. Therefore, adding to the overall revenue of Riot. I think this could be a new and fresh idea to add to season 7.

Thanks!

Lol I don't want to listen to teenagers talk thanks. I don't even use chat now, why would I use voice?

No, and here is why.

  1. The ping system works not only as a sound, a flashy icon, it also brings it up in the chat. If they can't see that then calling mia as well was pointless. No different from someone saying mia and also hearing ping spams.

  2. THOUGH I agree with voice with champ select after that it wouldn't work and here is why. You going to get those kids that are a)Going to call teammates bad when they mess up. b) Become raging kids when they are bad. c) I don't like hearing anything other then English on NA server d) Some people like to play music over voice chat

League isn't one game that could benefit because it's too much a double edge sword. Unless Tribunal comes back and we can also play back game recordings...but that would eat up too much resources.

overwatch made it work, its just something you have to choose to opt into.

the issue it creates is "riot would have to monitor and siv through it" and they dont want to do that.

i would be fine with a waver forfeiting my rights to a "safe space" in exchange for the service. (leave at any time, mute anyone, w/e)

Overwatch games don't go on for 40mins. I don't want to hear children for that long a match.
