The new system needs work

While i like the idea of the new system, i hate it's implementation. I had no idea what was going on the first time, i missed my ban. I had no previous occurrences of this happening. I got banned for 5 mins... for not knowing what was going on... my first time. Later, two games later, I miss a ban again, sure at this point i knew what was going on, but i just never heard the typical ding, so i never looked over. I get banned for 15 mins... for missing a ban... my third game... At this point i realized why it was taking me 30 minutes to get into a game. People don't know what is going on, getting banned, and the pool is getting smaller. It is not worth messing with at this point until Riot fixes the system. I should not get banned for not banning... maybe for not picking a champ, but not for missing a ban.
