Voting to dodge

Has anybody at riot thought about making it so you could vote to dodge a queue instead of just having to dodge yourself and lose lp and time off league? I think it would be a great improvement to the game, because you could counter a lot of trolls and whatnot. I think the concept should be like if lets say 4 people at least have to vote to dodge since then if there was a troll the troll wouldn't be able to stop the dodge and if more than one people are voting "no" then that probably means that there isn't a troll. The system could also work as a kicking system where if the people vote to kick someone that someone will get kicked and have a queue timer

I think it could also be like a report system so it stops people from dodging cause of comps, like a kick system.

So four people can just choose to votekick the other member of their team in order to freely avoid a game?

I think it's actually best that the current system forces the person considering dodging to weigh the reason for the dodge against the penalty for dodging. If they feel strongly enough, they can choose to take the short queue timer and LP penalty in order to avoid a game where they feel a loss is inevitable.

I would disagree since if there was a troll, the troll would deserve to get punished, and i also don't think people would abuse the system, but idk you could be right

My idea on this is vote to punish. This would require the return of the tribunal for my system to work though. You need 3 votes to report someone in lobby in which case the lobby is canceled with no immediate action taken against anyone. The case with a recorded video of exactly what you see in lobby is reviewed by the tribunal where they determine if the report was justified. If it is, the person reported is punished with 20 minute leaver buster queue for 5 games. If they are found innocent, the 3 people who reported get the punishment instead. If this happens a second time, the punishment is increased to 10 games.

That's a great concept but way too slow, imagine how many people would have to undergo the tribunal.

With the risk of getting yourself punished if the person is found innocent I wouldn't actually think that many. I honestly can't remember the last time I had an obvious troll in pregame. There have been plenty of off meta picks, but that isn't something that is reportable and not something I have an issue with. Maybe it is just different for me because of my willingness to compromise though. I am happy to play anywhere but ADC and will fill ADC with a mage if it is needed. If I call jungle and the last person in takes it from me I'll gladly go support.
