Riot WHY DONT YOU USE THIS SYSTEM FOR EVERY GAME!!! I mean i know you don't care about people other than the LCS players and other diamond players (Just feels that way) but come on! I know you guys have read the countless post talking about loss prevented and why people haven't received them due to 1 or more people DC in a ranked game. I just lost one because i had 2!!!! I swear sometimes you guys are just ridiculous in aspects of your game and it makes me question why i still play. This summoner spells represent you Riot. You dodge every serious issue that comes up and make bs excuses

I think he is trolling, or butt hurt, but I think he means that when the game recognizes there is an afk (there IS something in place in the game that knows, because when you get to end game chat, their names are in Red), why not just offer a loss prevented.

I could be wrong though

the common "devils advocate" response I get to that comment when I propose the change, is that you COULD potentially run into instances where you duo with a buddy that is on a smurf account and doesn't care if he afk's. You both queue, if loss is imminent, your buddy just bails on the game, giving you....essentially.....the ability to never truly lose a game.

Read that thread I posted. Mercy rule is kind of a neat idea. It lets the other team vote. The other team wont' care if you lose points or just get loss prevented.....MOST the time. Just don't piss off the other team.

So what the Mercy Rule proposal does is 2 things. Give the afk team side some peace of mind knowing that all is not lost for someone leaving the game, but it also promotes good behavior so that the other team WILL vote mercy rule for you. If you piss at least one off, it might not happen. lol

Make it so if you're consistently queuing with a smurf who conveniently leaves when things are looking grim, you get flagged and riot investigates and might perma ban you if you're exploiting the system. Harsher leave penalties will also help.

What i meant was if there is a dc in your game is should automatically get a Loss Prevented instead of having to endure a 4v5 or a 3v5 all game.

Honestly, just uninstall. You play 20 games and 2 games have AFK's and you want MASSIVE SWEEPING CHANGES because reasons? People bitching about the minority of their games pisses me off to no end. Play the game or don't, it comes with bad apples, you don't like it? LEAVE.
