Why is there a gold II player in my game if im silver II, dynamic queue is the biggest bullshit i've ever seen. When are they going to bring back solo queue??

Yeah, it is true. Making a ranked team seems completely pointless at this point when you can just 5-man queue in the standard ranked queue.

I never understood why.

yeah having 4 friends you feel safe enough to play ranked with is hard to find :( at least for me xD

The queue is fine, but the matchmaking needs to work.

If you have a gold 2 and silver 2 in a game, the gold 2 should be matched to the gold 2 looking for the same lane. The silver 2 a silver 2 in his lane. Simple. If there is no match available, simply go an equal amount of lp up and down until you find the closest available match within the division and tier.

There are a slew of other things that need to be fixed as well to get the ladder more accurate- thats just a small start.

Another reason the player is in there is because he/she/it may have been duo with a low elo, or you had someone in your game that was also gold 2; or mmr balancing did something goofy to 'balance' out the game. There are other factors as well with mmr.

Such as if someone is on a streak, they may have a high mmr, so you could have like say a gold 3 in your game, but their mmr is gold 2, so a gold 2 gets pulled into the game. Yeah I know, it doesn't actually make sense. Not really. I see what they're trying to do... but someone took their crazy logic pills that day, cause its plain bad logic.

You should only play your division/tier now that lanes can be matched. Especially since it already takes 10 minutes to get into a match, depending on role of course.

Matchmaking is broken. Mmr can't possibly work. Mmr is your skill with 4 randoms, against 4 randoms.... and then your skill with 4 randoms against 4 randoms again... How can my skill accurately be measured when my teammates impact my performance and games.... and then a different set of people impact my next game... then different ones my next game.... um...

Yeah I agree it's just frustrating I was the silver facing against a gold 2 player :(
