Plans for Varus ADC?

Any plans for Varus in the future?

I hope you guys won't forget about Varus as the ADC in the botlane. Varus his kit is really cool but it could use some change.

  1. If Varus gets a kill or an assist, his attack speed passive (living vengeance) shows up and his bow starts to glow. What if timer of his passive only starts to run at the first auto attack. This would make Varus a great ADC for teamfight snowballing. Most of the time when the passive activates on Varus, I couldn't use it because the timer is just a few seconds, not long enough to make good use out of it.

  2. Mana % refund on popping 3 blight stacks.

  3. Popping 3 blight stacks empowers the abilities on Varus. Bonus slow on E ...% per stack

  4. Popping blight stacks lowers the cooldown of his abilities.

  5. Give Varus 600 range

These are just a few ideas. But I hate to see Varus just being used as a Q spam machine.

We've got a buff to Varus's passive coming shortly (probably hitting PBE tomorrow) intended to increase both power and satisfaction of auto attack builds. Numbers currently in testing are a 0.5 bonus AS ratio on champion kills/assists and a 0.25 bonus AS ratio on minion/monster kills. If you've got 60% bonus AS from items then for example the champion proc will give you 70% AS (40% base +30% ratio). Both buffs also have a standardized duration of 5s (versus 6s/3s).

He needs to be faster. He is probably the slowest village hunter ever. I mean, did he just walk everywhere? Should just give him an active on w that lets him sprint for a short distance.

range increase is a must

edit he does a better job wave clearing than most of the mages with that particular build

after the ghost blade change... ad caster type varus feels really trash... but going ad build still feels quite weak. all his abilities aside from q is plain boring (despite some are decently strong).

I might be a little late... but lately i have been playing a lot of varus and i always built him with AS... i won around 80% of the games i was playing attack speed(maybe my build was just so good) but i personally think he is already fine as he is right now. i mean lategame i become that massive monster that will kill the entire enemy team, without using spells(apart from q sometimes and ult to catch someone) i mean i would love a buff on him, because i really enjoy playing him right now, but i just want to say it's not really nessessary

Major suggestion, rework his passive so that it compliments both builds. Im thinking like leading him to more a TF build and having r detonate that stacks as well.

we can give him mobility though his e change to provide him a small back dash kinda like cait's net. so he could either fire in the sky then roll, or hop back from the marker and spraying the ground with arrows.
