Does Windspeakers Blessing work on yourself? (Client and Ingame confusion)

Wondering if this mastery actually works on yourself since the description says in the client that it's "Your heals and shields" and in-game just says "Your Heals on Ally Champions..." Can a Rioter or someone who has done a self heal test clear this up? Seems really lazy how Riot would leave out an important part of information on this mastery.
