Nexus Blitz: Suggestions for Improvement

Regarding Nexus Blitz I'd like to suggest some improvements that could potentially be implemented in the future.

I don't believe that some of the events should occur around enemy or allied turrets. I have noticed however, that the turrets and their targeting radius do cover a large percentage of the map. Perhaps this is why this issue hasn't already been attended to. Trying to find the space without including the area around the turrets doesn't leave a lot of room to work with for the events to occur. With this in mind I think that perhaps turrets should be put into stasis during events, excluding the 'push the cart' and 'push the cart - attack/defend' events as the objective in those events is to destroy an enemy building.

It can make for very one sided fights if an event occurs around a turret. I personally believe all events should provide an equal opportunity to all players, regardless of who's ahead or who's behind. This would leave room for the potential for the tides of the game to turn within a single event - neither side receiving an unfair advantage or disadvantage because of the placement of the event.

I'd also like to bring up arena. I think that all players cool-downs should be reset before the event is initiated as it can be, likewise with the issue of the turrets, a very one sided battle. If some players have their ultimate on cool-down, some don't and others haven't even hit level 6 then there is a lot of imbalance throughout this event. To remedy this I think perhaps that it shouldn't be possible for arena to occur within the earlier time frames of the game. Players that are still level 5 get absolutely shredded due to lacking their ultimate. I personally believe this is an issue.

I'd also like to point out that there have been numerous situations whereby I have seen a one versus two situation during this event, which strikes me as particularly unfair to the individual that has to go up against two people instead of one. To avoid this situation I believe that the event should work as it already does in three rounds, however the overall victory be based upon the result of each individual round. So, essentially I'm talking a 'best of three'. This way there will be two rounds of two versus two and one round of one versus one. That seems to me like much fairer odds.

I'm interested to see what the rest of the boards think could be potential good improvements for nexus blitz and also what they are pleased with. I particularly like the layout of the map now as it makes much more sense. There isn't an army of blast cones in random places and the jungle areas are laid out in a much more functional way than how it used to be.

I like the elements of 'urf' that have been included within this game mode and I really enjoy the sledge, though I'm assuming that's a snow-down exclusive? :P

also fix the issue with not getting the right amount of snowdown tokens. ripped off
