"Healthy for the game"

Hello! I've been playing league for... however long this account has been active. 5 years I think and lately I've been wondering what "healthy for the game" actually means. I used to think it meant to diversify as many play styles in the game as possible while also keeping it balanced (Let's pump out the balanced champions dawg!!) but I guess I was just being naive to think that.

I sometimes mosey around on the forums from time to time to read up on game changes and whatnot, rarely ever EVER actually posting anything, I usually think to myself "oh I'm just one person who cares what I think". That being said I guess I'm just a little fed up?

Anyway in my eyes it kinda seems like every time riot nerfs a champion they cling to those sacred words. So and so is getting nerfed because blah blah is not "healthy for the game". Riot also uses excuses that are EXTREMELY SITUATIONAL which I feel is incredibly childish. ex. Morde recently had some changes to his kit that made him less of a damage threat and more of tanky/bruiser. They took away his burst and gave him SLIGHTLY more survivablity saying things like "Morde is a walking suit of armor so it would make sence for him to be tanky and not be so much of a damage threat, also his "blow someone up and get a ghost playstyle wasn't healthy for the game" (there it is again)".

Okay riot, I see that it's no fun at all to just be wandering around the jungle full health and just randomly get blown up to the heavens and now you're in grey screen hating life, obviously. So I'm assuming Zed,Fizz, Lb, Talon, Akali, Katarina, Kha-Zix, etc are all going to be nerfed/removed from the game? Because you just said that playstyle wasn't "Healthy for the game"

Oh and don't try to pull the "Well Morde get's a ghost when he assassinates someone" card because I'm not buying it. Kat and Kha get resets. Talon and Akali have stealth to get away. Lb, Fizz and Zed have misdirecting dashes that confuse the hell out of opponents. The hell does morde have when he fails at assassinating someone? It's not like he has an ability where he raises a hand and says "Uhh my bad guys.. I didn't mean it" Making him untargetable. I mean.. Doesn't it just sound like a bleeping joke????

Then there's the "Well he's a walking suit of armor so he should be tanky." excuse. Really?? like.. you're serious......? Sooo I can calmly assume that shen is soon to be re-worked as an assassin then right? I mean... He is a bleeping ninja. Who's ever heard of a ninja that crashes a party and just face-tanks everybody and their mother? Also Viktor is mostly robotic soo.... whey the hell does he die when sneezed upon? Shouldn't robots be able to take real a beating? It's absolutely ridiculous.... this is the EXACT LOGIC that riot is using to justify what their doing all for the sake of what's "Healthy for the game".

Kalista is "healthy for the game"? (No I'm not talking about winrates you bleeps! Nor am I talking about teamfights. Strictly 1v1) I should be able to take on the enemy ADC as a melee bruiser with the right build if I catch her alone in the jungle right? Wrong.... :( When played correctly Kalista absolutely destroys anybody who has zero gap closer's or an incredibly long cooldown on their gap closer's. She can literally LITERALLY hop circles around them..... I used to like playing Skarner before Kalista came out. I used to like playing Darius before Kalista came out. I used to like playing Udyr, Amumu, Jarvan, Garen, Singed, Nautilus and just about every single mellee bruiser/tank in the game aside from a few exceptions. How is this "Healthy for the game"??? Somebody please make sence of it to me because I've tried and I'm getting nowhere.....

I just wanna know what "healthy for the game" means... with regards to my examples above. Please.

I Dare riot to respond with a convincing answer. Or at least come out and say you're now just in this for the money and don't give a flying bleep about a "healthy game"

Let's ignore the fact that Talon, Akali, Kha'Zix and Fizz were all nerfed pretty hard. Even Zed and Leblanc were nerfed to a much lesser extent. I think Zed is honestly not even too overpowered. Most of the Zed QQ is over exaggerated anyway. He has so many counters, especially since there are two items negate his main form of damage.

ITT: WAAHHHH THEY NERF MY MORDEKAISER HE ES NUMERO UNO

He also gets two health bars with ridiculous spell vamp. It's literally impossible to lane against Mordekaiser because of his spell vamp and shield. Kalista is a difficult champion to play properly. To win lane as Mordekaiser you just have to spam E until your lane opponent is low and then hit R and you instantly have another champion in lane to help you.

Whenever an assassin fails, they have just as many problems as Mordekaiser. If katarina gets her ult instantly interrupted, she's extremely squishy and gets instantly blown up.

You as well as the other guy are missing the point and are just jumping on assuming Morde is my number 1 favorite champion in the entirety of the world and I'm super salty about it. So thank you for showing us you both belong to the uneducated filth pile where all the other fly's that cling to bleep are.

The point, using him as an example was that his "identity" was changed. Sure every champion ever released is going to be buffed/nerfed due to feedback but all of those other assassins were nerfed while trying to keep them assassins. Every single one of them as the ability to jump on you, kill you, then get out safely.

And really? All you have to say is that Kalista is "hard to play"? Hahahaha get the hell out of here.....

Main question still stands.... What does "Healthy for the game" mean?

To the average poster "Healthy for the game" is synonymous with "strategies I use" and "unhealthy" is synonymous with "strategies I lose to".
