3v3 Matchmaking .. wtf?

Really fed up with 3v3 matchmaking.. one game I'll get diamond-challenger tier players on my team, the next I'll get silver or low gold. My last game gave me a gold five duo while the other team had all mid diamond players. My mmr is good too, over the past few days I think I'm somewhere around 23 and 5 for wins and losses. Managed to carry a lot of low elo players in some of these games. Just don't understand why every few games I'm getting silvers while the other team full diamond. It's basically an auto loss.

Because 3v3 matchmaking is based on their 3v3 rank and not their soloQ rank? I tried to play some 3v3's to get gold but it's just really not worth the effort bc of this and the 3v3 meta and lack of balancing for the mode.

Yeah idk, the only way to climb consistently high elo in this mode is w a duo or a team.

You can get to challenger 3v3 solo, just not with any champion you want.

Not sure if you have actually looked at some of the highest ranked 3s players but...some of those stats will blow your mind.(80%+ winrates over 100s of games, there was one guy that had 95%+ WRs across 4 different champions over 100s of games)

The map is basically designed for a certain set of champions and those champions run the show.

I am plat 1 in 3s trying hard to get diamond atm. I honestly just expect to fight masters/challengers every single game.

However flex 5s is the exact same way...like the exact same so it isn't a 3v3 specific problem.
