If I had 2 shards of a skin, will it reduce the essence cost to permanent unlock?
I know it's pretty dumb question.... but I really was wondering....

Two shards of the same skin? No, but you could combine any 3 into a random permanent skin or just disenchant one, sorry there's no better use for it :/
well, technically. it means you can disenchant one of your duplicates for essence to unlock the skin. so its basically the same effect.
