Silver and New Level 30s

I have one question for riot. Why do you allow new level 30's to do placements with silvers? Why aren't they paired with low bronze and force to work their way up just like everyone else. It blows my mind that i can climb from bronze 2 all the way to silver 3 and then get trolled all the way back down to silver 5.

I have been paired with new level thirties for at least 20 straight games and they either feed like crazy or play jungle, never gank, and die to jungle camps.

Ever thought about just placing new players at bronze and calling it a day? It's really frustrating to do so well and try to climb to Gold, but then get crapped on by the match making system.

These people literally feed so hard it is impossible to come back from, even if i play mid and jungle to help them, it's impossible.

a placement is just that a placement. the better you do, the higher you place. if they're placing with you they are either better than you let on.... or you're worse than you're think.

How do they determine if they are better than me when they have never played a ranked game before? Answer me that? Based off normal wins? If so that is pretty shitty.

Also, they aren't even done with their placement games. It's not like they completed ten games and then ended up in silver. The last guy had lost 6 games and was playing with silvers. He should be playing placements with bronze and if they win out on their placements they should then be place in silver...not vise versa.

These are players who just hit thirty and are playing their placement matches with silvers. It just seems like if you're a brand new fresh 30 you should be starting in low bronze and working your way up, not starting out with placement matches with silver players. Most new level 30s do not understand ranked play and it's importance to others.

thats because they start out with a baseline mmr. if you're being matched with them, then you have the base mmr. their mmr will also jump and drop erratically as they have little games with which to computer the data with. they could one game and that could raise it significantly placing them with higher ranked people and then lose the next 2 and be placed with lower rank people.
