Patch 5.1, Riot said that the red trinket upgrade cost would be reduced together with the other 2 trinkets. This hasn't happened :
"Yellow and blue trinket upgrades are cheaper, yellow trinket upgrades are on a shorter cooldown, red trinket upgrade is cheaper."
If the other 2 trinkets are getting their cost reduced it's only fair that the red trinket gets the same treatment, increased cooldown but no reduced cost ? Makes no sense.
Sukishoo2 votesRed trinket got nerfed so hard, now having that 75 CD... but only the other two were meant to be changed in price. I think it's to try and get people to actually use the blue one more often now since it's rarely used in general.
Fadedpf2 votesThey act like everyone uses sweeper and denying vision is game breaking. In super high elos this is true but in low elos they are making junglers/supports have the weight of destroying wards and they wont be able to clear them fast enough with the CD increase and the unchanged high cost to upgrade. NorthernDruid1 votesThe point is to make upgrading your yellow trinket something anyone not the support might consider, since there are times when you have 250 to spare, whereas 475 is almost guaranteed to get you something else useful (like boots enchantment)
