mmr & season 9

hi guys, Do riot give any information about placement and mmr for season 9? i start season with 7 win 3 loose from placement, I was plat 4 and reach gold 4 after this. Then now, i'm really winning a lot, around 70% of my game on 60 games, and i still win 22 lp max, and up really slow. At start it was the same with like... 90% winrate from 25 first games. And i'm also matched with 1 div under me with this ratio. I dont get it at all, how it goes for you?

Why can’t they just remove this stupid system? It makes no sense what so ever. If I’m Gold 5 and I just got there from pre season and now I’m bronze 1??? WHAT IS THIS SHT.

Pre-Season is a mess. Also its to keep you at around the same level each year if you dont get better.

Cause Pre-Season does not count towards your rank. So if you ended in Silver when the season ended they will take that rank into consideration and not your pre-season Gold rank. Theres a reason its called PRE-season.

you talk bulshit, i had a Silver 2 when The season end, and in preaseason i took Gold 3, and alter placements i took Silver 2, so its count to your mmr.

Yeah it counts towards your MMR but it does not make you start from wherever you ended last season. If you actually look at what I said before you'd understand that I never mentioned about MMR. So if you can please open your eyes and look carefully I would appreciate that. Also its spelled "bullshit" with double L. Have A Great Day.

same here I think is a bug we should report the bug in the bug session seems like the placements didn't affect the MMR

Same issue here, 90% win ratio in past 10 games, 70% overall and still only winning 18lp per games

honestly, this is the worst season in all 9 seasons I am gold 3 and I got placed with silver 1 and 2 but got 23 lp and on my next game I had gold 4 3 and 2 teammates and opponents but got 19 lp... Rito pls I don't even understand why they changed the system like season 8 system was good... [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Exact same situation. I was plat last season, with fairly high mmr. Yet in season 9, after being placed in gold I've been unable to climb to plat under the course of 60 games or so. The matchmaking is so inconsistent it hurts. Constantly 2/3 people get autofilled in my games. In one instance the midlane matchup was gold against plat. The state of ranked is ridiculus.

Guys listen up. ALL OF U. When riot had season 9 in planning they wanted to remove mmr comoletely. And they kinda did. Do you guys see any mmr websites for season 9 anymore? No, because mmr made it possible for bronze players who play well to get in rankeds with gold or higher. But if these games happened the bronze players would feed and eventually be incapable to climb with mmr higher then their own elo, and the gold players would loose lp. So they put away the mmr system through resetting match making rating completly. Instead they now put together players with similiar amounts of lp or not so different ranks. So that only bronze 1 players can play with other silver players. And through mmr beeing gone, pre season ranked matches became less valuable for ur rank after pre season. I myself hooe they balance their matchmaking in preseason 10 but i dont think they will. Because they want newer players to have it easier this all was a discussion at riot centrals longer ago but they did it how it is now. I hope i was of help for you.<3
