Darius and garen very easily because true damage executes and nasus can't lifesteal through their armor. Master yi melts him because he is immune to atk speed slows which nasus relies heavily on to beat melee carries. And jax because well jax beats everyone but also because jax can just e whenever he is withered. Im probably forgetting a bunch too

Of the ones you listed, only a Garen using the Villain mechanic and Master Yi can duel a stacked Nasus.

you are wrong. As an avid Darius player ill tell you that late game nasus cant touch darius. Ive beaten 1v1 Many Nasus players and i dont even have to break sweat. You know why? because Darius heals more than Nasus. why? because nasus cant dodge his Q if darius leades with w. And Nasus doesnt lifssteal well vs tanks. ALso Darius does moe damage than Nasus . WHy? because 25% armor pen passive + 30% armor reduduction from cleaver, + 1000 true damage execute. compared to the petty 400 physical dmg Q of nasus ( calculated after armor). and a lil bit of magic dmg from his ulti.

Jax beats everyone 1v1, cause his kit scales amazingly well with items. A 6 item Jax is better than any other 6 item champion in the game in 1v1. ALso Nasus' Q no longer goes through Jax's E, so basically if Jax buys Mercs and uses E every time he is withered, it's like Nasus can't take advantage of Jax's reduced atk speed for that duration. LAso Jaxes mixed damage and constant sheen procs is way too hard for nasus to itemize against.

Now im assuming here The Nasus player has a reasonable number of stacks, and both champions are 6 items and lv 18. If Nasus has more 500 by 20 mins that means he is snowballing really hard and is not very realistic. By deep late game (50 mins) he shoulnt have more than 1000. These numbers I consider a well stacked Nasus

Worth mentioning: Heimerdinger- Can 1v1 most duelists fairly easily Kha'Zix- Although he's not strong now, he still is pretty dang good at isolated 1v1s Renekton- The duelist that doesn't have to wait until level 14 to 1v1 everyone Garen- I'm not sure he can actually lose a 1v1. He usually has enough escapability and tankiness if it goes south. Meanwhile, he can usually win if his 3 minute CD ult is up. It's just unfortunate that their Flash CD is almost as short.

FIZZ TOP- Press R, three shot bruisers. It might be that I'm just not used to him being in the meta yet, but he seems impossible to straight up duel even moreso than Jax, Nasus and Trynadmere. The only real answer is shutting him down early. Even against a fed Nasus you can kite/build armor.

If built correctly, I'd say Aatrox is up there for best duelist in the game. item 3718 item 3153 item 3262 item 3143 item 3065 item 3026 Aatrox Comes to about 2.05 attack speed with well used bloodwell, 210 ad, over 200 mr and armor, insane sustain with w and , challenging smite, and attack speed jungling item damage amounting to over 100 extra magic damage per hit late game.

A six item Jax will nearly one-shot a six item Vayne, while also being immune to her only real damage for much of the fight. He also tends to get quite a bit of armour from his items, as well as a Sterak's Gage, which counters Vayne's silver bolts (shields are the best defense against percent hp true damage).

A six item Master Yi can duel Vayne even more easily, since a good Yi can Q her condemn, and is far too fast for her to try kiting.

Tryndamere gets five seconds to be completely immune to Vayne's damage, and can kill her in two or three auto attacks.

A six item Yasuo is just as mobile as Vayne if not more-so, and if he hits his ult he will kill her in short order. He can also completely no-sell her auto attacks and condemn with wind wall.

A six item Rengar will do to Vayne what a six item Rengar does to every bot lane ADC.

A six item Olaf will run a six item Vayne down like the degenerate she is.

I also am pretty sure a six item full tank Mordekaiser (yes) would be virtually immune to Vayne's damage in a 1v1 and would probably either kill her or force her to flee.

Don't get me wrong, Vayne is an extremely good duelist. But she's not unbeatable.

I would say normally it is this for melee champs if it is 1v1 fighting like a man without kiting:

Tier 1: Nasus Jax Fiora MasterYi (normally they fuck most champions in 1v1 duels if no running away and coming back is allowed) Tier 2: Olaf Trundle Warwick Shyvana DrMundo Volibear Udyr Aatrox XinZhao Irelia Darius Garen Illaoi (the three juggernauts could be tier 1 depending on how well they use their ult) Tier 3: Yasuo Riven Gangplank (they could actually be higher if they are allowed to kite. Highly dependent on the player's skill and build, I saw a Riven destroy a Tryndamere at 1v1)

A fully built Yi tends to out dps almost any melee champion, and is extremely hard to itemize against due to his true damage. He has the option to avoid hard CC or burst with alpha strike and a second CC using QSS. Add that with crit built into his build and other forms of on hit effects, he will normally win. Meditate also for tanking while being on cd or mitigating damage he is best not to trade, for example during Jax's counter strike.

Master Yi full build outdamages pretty much everyone and eventually beats any tank or semi tank with ease that includes Udyr (remember we're talking 1 on 1 late game), I feel like Xin is the biggest threat to Yi, Yi can even dodge Jax's e if timed right, outscales Lee in every possible way, but Xin's just nasty man he can interrupt your W , can tank while dealing enough damage in return although Yi should be able to kill him if he's more fed than him. Maybe Trynda can kill him if Yi doesn't screw up his W and baits Trynda? That's why he listed Trynda in tier one also. I personally think Aatrox could be a viable tier 1. He's a beast late game.
And Godyr's looking great this patch. He's back.

I would like to say Riven, but it largely depends on who's playing her.

I'm also confused about why people are occasionally picking assassins. They assassinate, but they don't really do well if they have to fight another 1v1 right afterword, and another and another, which I feel should be the most important factor to a duelist. To be able to win not just one 1v1 when you are at your best, but a few of them consecutively even if you arn't as hot as you were.

Probably Kayle tbh. She can build anything, and can fight the majority of champions in this game. Fiora Shits on her though before she has items.
