Hextech Chests - Summoner Icons

It's really frustrating when you finally get the shards to get a key and open a hextech chest and end up getting a summoner icon. Summoner icons don't mean much, and you can only use one at a time, and there are several vanity and legacy icons that hold value to many players. Why should you also be able to get summoner icons from chests which are something to look forward to getting new skins or new champions?

TLDR: Summoner icons shouldn't be in hextech crafting. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

You get a chunk of essence too if you get an icon, and they are one of the more rarer grabs from chests. I'm not complaining because I got the Urf Ghost finisher from a chest, as well as some of the poro pet icons like Gentleman and Dragonslayer. Granted, I wish icons DID have a more use, such as a curated gallery or decorations part of your profile where you could set multiples, but it's not all bad to get them in chests.
