Karma question - math person needed!
So after getting utterly demolished facing a Karma mid, I tried her out and immediately was hooked.
The build the enemy Karma went was RoA, Redemption, Crucible, Zhonya's and then the game ended. The build gave her insane strong shield and heals and she basically does nutso damage while also juking and shielding everything.
My question is this: with Redemption and Crucible, her heals and shields were 30% stronger. But at what point is it better to order items? i.e. I know numbers-wise it's better to build raw AP for a stronger shield THEN pick up a % stat item right? So is it better to build a high AP item like Echo and then build Crucible/Redemption or just go RoA -> Redemption -> Crucible if I want to optimize shield strength?
The player who inspired me to try it went RoA -> Redemption -> Crucible -> the game ended here but I think he was going for a Luden's Echo
So, math nerds, thoughts?
and 15 AP from runes (so 30 AP) and you have 5 stacks on RoA giving you additional 80 AP as you go to buy your second item.... you have 110 AP.
you go to 210 AP or shield of 130+105 = 235. With Crucible you get 20% stronger shield of 1.2*(130+55) = 222. So, almost the same. However, assuming you have say, 45 mr and opponent has sorc boots.... you go from effective 30 mr to 60 mr. Factoring this into the shield, Mikael's guards you for 355 while Luden's guards you for 305.
