THEY NEED TO MAKE GARENS ULT A ONE TIME USE

Let me know again when Garen gets to pentadunk like Darius does.

At max rank Garen's ult does 525+40% of targets missing health. To do the required 1000 true damage to match your number you would have to be missing 2500 health. This means that, for your example, you're talking about a villain with a max health of 5000.

However, your original post seems to be about how often Garen can use his ult. It does not have any resets, so unless you're asking for his ult to only be usable once per game I have to inform you that Garen can only ult every 48 seconds, at rank 3 of his ult and at 40% cooldown reduction.

I want to say numbers like that show up because of how the death recap shows what skills do what damage. True damage dealt by Garen's spin and auto attacks are shown as being done by his ult, I believe, because his ult's passive is what gives his spin and auto attacks their true damage. Because of this it is all added together into one large number.

I could be wrong, as I've not really tested it personally, but this is my understanding of how it works. If you let Garen sit on you he can easily do 10% of your maximum health in true damage before he ults you.

just a heads up. death recap is retarded when it comes to garens ult. it doesnt account for overkill. so if it shows more than 1k true damage, chances are he ulted you at something like 200 to 500 hp.
