I'm Taiwanese, so my English is not really good. My friend send a link to me. its about the free 8000 RP. and i not sure does it safe. so i made a discussion in help and support. i thought we can get help in help and support, but it seems like is to help other people..... is any way i can tell riot i didn't mean to do that.. and not ban my account? i need help...

HalcyonDweller1 votesDon't trust 3rd party RP giveaways. Any websites that are not Riot's will probably just be a scam designed to trick you out of your account or they might even be websites designed just to put a virus or spyware on your computer when you visit them.
Don't follow links to sites like that, and especially don't trust links sent by your friends' accounts. If they get compromised it would be easy for the hackers to just log into your friend's account and send you the links in order to make you trust it more (because you would think that it was sent by your friend). Better to talk to the person directly first, either on the phone or on another form of media, to verify that they were the person who sent you the link. Even then I wouldn't trust any RP giveaway websites. They're all for stealing your account or hacking you anyways.
