Re-implementation of Mics is necessary.

Mics are necessary for teamwork. Whatever way you look at it, Pings dont do enough!!! Especially in the lower elo's of Bronze and Silver, Pinging people are missing in lane, to I saw the jungler in that bush, is very hard to communicate. People tend to misinterpret the pings 80% of the times and typing it out to the takes way to long in this fast paced game. Sometimes confusing pings for insult or toxicity. Its hard to teach people not to go in on a 1 v 5 in low elos with 5 danger pings and expect them not to repeat the same thing when they respawn. All that will happen is them afking in base and begin flaming the team with messages we are all familiar with that include: "where was the team", "how come nobody follows up", "why did u take ur time" and other insults and rage induced messages do to miscommunication and lack of immediate understanding of pings.

To my understanding we used to have a mic system that was taken down due to toxicity, and now I believe we could just ban them for being toxic with the use of the report system. For example if someone starts using their mics to insult, flame or swear at other players, we a can use a time stamp system to identify when they used this language and have it reviewed and punished, some examples of timestamps could be every 5 mins 0-5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20, etc. Punishments could include loss of mic privilege for a set period of time, this will force people to better behave and use mic for teamwork and people who report will easily get familiar with the Time stamp system, making it easier to punish people misusing the mic system.

I want to be able to join a lobby and have a discussion of what role I want, and be able to suggest champions for other people to play as well as discuss champion combos, and strategies in lobby, as well as in game strategies and plans for late game, also warning player of possible ganks and enemy positions and giving tips. All to further promote team work and form closer bonds to players even if only for a game to reduce flaming and negative attitudes towards people. In the end voice is more relatable then text and this will force people to be more understanding and realise that there is a person behind that champion and they will be able to sympathise or teach correct techniques instead of just flaming for feeding, or not ganking or other similar situations.

TLDR: NEED MICS, REDUCE FLAMING BY REPORTING USING TIME STAMPS = LOSS OF MIC PRIVILEGE, EASY TO SYMPATHISE AND STRATEGIES AND TEACH PEOPLE TECHNIQUES USING MICS = LESS FLAMING WITH VOICE BECAUSE REASONS FOR FEEDING AND COUNTER TIPS TO HELP PREVENT AND BETTER GAMEPLAY, ETC.

That is such a big fat no, the toxic community within league is already a big reason to say no but I also don't want to hear god aweful mic quality and random distracting bullshit like you would hear in CoD. Riot understands how unhealthy the game would become with the addition of a voice system which is why they won't add it. If you truly care about such things as better communication then free easy to use programs like TS and curse voice (CS being the better of the 2) are always available.

Mics make playing with randoms in TF2, CS, and any other game result in completely awful experiences, to say nothing of how ostracizing it is for people who play without mics. If you want to play with mics then put together a team through your friends, forums, chat, or whatever and set up a vent server.

Gotta agree with the other two gentlemen (or ladies, sometimes hard to tell by screen name lol).

I only started about a year ago, but i can even say from personal experience on mmorps that mics aren't always a good thing. From having a person make fun of your voice (even though you are the healer and their only chance of being able to survive) to having to hear someone flame you for your choices.

Like they said, Teamspeak or CS or any other voice chat system will work for you. But not everyone on LoL wants a voice chat.

Heck, my younger bro plays LoL and talks with his friends (who also play) on Skype.

Yeah... I don't want to hear some 12 year old kid screaming at his team if someone dies ect. Played CoD once at a friends on xbox live and if I talked the way those kids do when I was younger, my parents would have kicked me out.
