Match making is a bit silly for me. Is it only happening to me?

So I do not know if it is just me this is happening to but over the last what Id say 8 weeks, I have been going against High diamonds and plats in my games and here is the funny thing. My team is almost always bronze and silvers (Yes I am a silver, make fun of me). It is getting to the point I can not even enjoy learning new champs or trying new things because of constantly getting kicked in by these players. My MMR is not high as I have been losing most of my games. So I just wanted to ask if it is just me this is happening to or are other unlucky people going up against High and quite toxic Elo players. It has gotten to the point where I have lost all faith in Riots matchmaking and in general league. Any feedback would be nice here please, because quite frankly queuing up for games now just seems like a hell for me. [zombie-nunu-bummed]
