Okay, Cait should be nerfed, but why the attack delay nerf?

But what? An auto delay nerf is probably the best direction because Caitlyn is a high-powered auto attacker. Her headshots rival Jhin's autos, so why give her faster autos AND strong ones, on top of having one of the highest ranges in the game?
Not to mention if they hit anything else, you or someone else would complain:
Remove damage from one of her abilities? "Rito what the heck, Caitlyn needs her damage" Reduce her trap count or its functionality? "Rito wtf you reworked Cait to be a trap master and now she can't even have traps?" Reduce the slow or remove the headshot on E? "Rito wtf my immobile ADC has a worse Tristana W" Nerf her base stats? "Dafuq Riot Caitlyn is already squishy blah blah blah"
I understand what it feels like to have your champion nerfed, and it sucks, but unless you can come up with a better argument than "that's a gameplay nerf," which was clearly the intention of this change, then your post is not substantial and nobody can really rally behind what you're saying.

The attack delay makes no sense and just attacks her core gameplay. Shell just feel clunky now.
Why the Runaan's nerf? Both nerfs are massive ones; they're pretty much Ryze'ing and Azir'ing her. She will become a joke ADC that's completely unplayable or viable with these nerfs. :/
Edit: Which, might I add, will probably make the likes of Draven and Twitch, two ADCs that are already ridiculously strong and that Cait counters in lane, even more strong because they never have to go against her. They both have higher win rates than Caitlyn with more toxic kits but sure, Caitlyn needs the nerf. I really fucking hate these boards sometimes...
The point is she should be a caster focused ADC with massive siege potential. Her skill based damage rotation hasn't really be changed with this, but her ability to be a standing turret has. Cait should lose just about any fight where she isn't getting to use her zone control and siege to its limits, compared to standing right click bot (Bonus points if in bush to enable practically every other attack to be a Headshot once Hurricane is finished).
Maybe, considering her range is meant to be a huge boon, they think she shouldn't be as decent with kiting, considering her use of traps, nets, and said range.
Maybe she needed a hard nerf because she's broken beyond space and time? I've never seen such a safe and easy adc pick. It is also cancerous to lane against her and a poke support when they also have a fuckin late game, bout time she has an actual trade off
Because she's suppose to have a sniper, not have a long range rapidfire rifle.
I'm curious as to why she's also getting nerfed harder than Lucian is. Lucian is just as popular as an ADC with just as good of a performance while also now being played mid/top.
