All we'd need to change is his R.
Allow him to move at 10/20/30% (90/80/70% Slow) movement speed while channeling his ultimate.
(As an Example form HOTS when Azmodan channels his E on the the other guy.)

I don't think this is the change he needs or a change that should happen at all. Part of the counterplay to his ult is that an ally can disrupt it. If he can move around during it then it would lose that counterplay.
But a small AP ratio on his Voidlings so that they are not completely worthless except on his AD build. (And his AD build is completely worthless.)
