Akali nerfed, but what about Sylas?

Based on what we've seen in MSI, Akali and Sylas were pick or ban champs. One could win over the other. It's a match-up that's largely based on skill. So it makes sense to nerf Akali. Heck, nerf her hard so that we can finally be done with it. But why in the world is Sylas not getting the same treatment? If Akali was going toe to toe with Sylas, and she's now getting nerfed, then we know exactly who's going to be dominating the mid / top lane after this happens. So why not take proper action by nerfing Sylas?

Overall, it's a very strange decision.
