What was riot's idea of Nocturne?

is a champ I love due to his playstyle as a nightmarish hell of a champ that will haunt adc's dreams by sticking onto them for a good period of time before doing half their hp and dying right after. Nocturnes assassin playstyle makes him a rocket waiting to seek into it's destination and his bruiser build is a duelist. I find myself doing both however once late game comes it's frustrating jumping in only to get perm cced and die right after since noc has no escape but a speed buff and spell shield when we have kha'zix jumping around the place. There's plenty of assassins that can easily beat nocturne in duels and he was even ignored in the assassin update. I feel as if riot just forgot about him but I know that they're planning a rework for him in the future it's just that we need a little something for the ghost to keep him within the meta. I realize that noc has been seen in competitive play recently with his assassin build but never with his bruiser. I have no idea what riot's intentions are with the champ and he just seems so dead and out of place of a champ. His Kit is outdated and he has no place in lore. I hope riot does something about my favorite ghost soon. This is my first time writing a post so go easy on me with the comments and tell me what you guys think of my opinion.
