Can someone tell me why I am having trouble leaving Bronze?

I'm pretty damn good but I cannot seem to figure a way out of Bronze. I play best when I Duo Queue. But in Solo Queue I feel like the gameplay falls apart. If anyone has any top something I would appreciate that. Thank you.

Work on your CS...

Are you playing diana? are you playing tahm kench? are you play blue build ezreal? how about graves?

If the answer is no, theres your problem. riot has made this season's balance like the income inequality in the U.S.

If you're not playing the top, you're playing the bottom.

On the real though, just find a champ you do well with and play it a lot. Or find a group of people in the same situation that are trying to climb out. ABUSE THE FACT YOU CAN 5 MAN SOLO QUE NOW. you can add iConcy if you want, ill be on later and got a few people in the same situation. Got placed lower than normal after placements but we'll all get out again someday, right?

hi there

Best way to get out of bronze is to simply get lucky.... Lucky that your teammates don't feed 5 times in each lane before 10 mins, and lucky that if you survive lane phase your teammates don't constantly get caught in jungle/river leaving you to defend mid lane by yourself against 3-5 enemies. Any bs that people tell you about "carrying" is exactly that... it's bs. You can't carry alone vs 5 unless the enemy team is just as bad or worse.

Sometimes you are pitted against a garbage team, on a garbage team, but there is another good player on the enemy team in the same situation. Your best chance to win is to jungle so that you can defeat the other good player at their role (which is usually jungle), but if your team feeds to that other good player you are fucked unless he makes a big mistake. That's basically my experience in bronze.

Like FooDang said, you need to work on your cs. Your goal should be at least 6cs/m every game. You have many games as APC, top lane and ADC where you have ~3cs/m which is terrible. If you check pro players they almost always get 7-10cs/m.

Bronze is all about minding your own business. Don't worry about your team, worry about yourself. Focus on winning your lane, roaming successfully, keeping your cs up so you can rack up completed items, and pushing objectives (sometimes this requires you worrying about your team, in which case just try to guide them to push the objective with you, but dont get upset if they don't). That's all it takes.

I went to replay.gg and watched one of your games. This game was played on Jan 30th as Lucian. Link: http://www.replay.gg/search/na/bootymcnasty#2083723681

The following are my comments on your gameplay. I am only Silver II from last season, so take it for what it is worth. I hope that you will find it valuable.

Champ Select You team has a Zed slow, and a Sona ult for CC. Everyone on the enemy team has CC as a basic ability.

~1:00 Why the bush ward? You could save that ward just by standing in the river. 2:15 Your Sona was obviously bad. You should make note of this. 3:18 By this time you should have realized that Blitz and Jinx are also terrible. 4:30 You are full health against a low health ADC. Your support can heal you. You should be trading whenever Blitz can't hook you. Force her to back, so you can deny farm/experience. Or get a kill. Don't let her CS. Zone her away from the creeps. 6:35 Either push the lane or freeze it. You positioned the wave to the best possible position for the enemy and then backed. 7:40 Good body blocking of minions to get them in the right spot after your opponent pushed wave back for you. 8:00 Your lane opponent is MIA. You should ping your team. Blitz is high roam-threat.

~9:00 You ulted and that looked to be going well until you got Blitz hooked. You then tried to stick around at extremely low health against two opponents hoping for a kill, with a high threat mid-laner MIA. Having just fought a big 3v3, you should expect the mid-laner roam here. You then flash away from a Jinx that has her passive activated. Should have saved your flash here and accepted your inevitable death. You weren't getting away. Remember that the mid-laner at this point in the game should always be two level ahead of you (you share minion experience, they don't), and able to kill you by themselves, as they scale better with levels and their items are stronger at this point in the game. 10:45 you allow Annie to get a free Thunderlord proc on you in your pointless effort at killing Tibbers. Small mistake, but everything adds up. 10:55 You wisely stay away from Annie who has her stun ready, as indicated by the white swirly lines under her feet. Even without that indicator, you should prob. stay away because she can hide it by not casting the 4th spell untill she engages. If she flash stuns here, you are dead. She didn't have flash, but did you know that at the time?

11:15 you step out from behind your minions against Blitz, who hooks you from less than full health without flash, and you die. If you want to bait the hook, at least bait it at max range so you can have more time to react. 12:00 You should have noted at this point that your support doesn't have a Sightstone, and theirs does. You should also note that Jinx is 4/1, with more CS than you, and scales better into late game. This should be noted for future decision making. 12:45 You solo roam into the jungle that you don't have vision of, when you can't see your lane opponents, and at which time they have every reason to be in your jungle taking it. You then dash away from a Blitz hook instead of sideways, and you die. 13:50 You still don't know where the enemy is, and you have a ward. You don't ward over the wall to Gromp before taking CS, while being in range and vision of Blitz if he was at Gromp.

14:10 Alright, you drop a couple wards. Good. You have also caught up to your lane opponent in CS. 15:15 Your team gets lucky that no one followed up on Annie's flash+Tibbers. 16:45 You pick up a pink ward. Good. 18:40 You get picked by two Blitz grabs in a row. You turn to fight him, but that allows him to close range with his E, knocking you up and assuring your death, which was almost certainly going to happen regardless of which action you took. 19:00 Hopefully you have realized at this point that Akali is strongest on your team and probably your only hope, but that she is too eager to commit to a fight, and exerting zero map pressure.

19:30 You are finally level 9. Probably best to get Blue trinket here. You haven't placed that pink ward that you got earlier. A defensive location best at this point, because your team is super behind. If you could have received all the experience from a duo lane (without kills), you would be level 12 with that experience alone. That is what level Jax is right now. 20:00 Enemy team only 2K gold ahead. Definitely winnable. 20:28 You decide to finish the turret instead of helping Akali fight. I like that decision. Y'all need some turrets. However... you then move to the fight after it is over, and with all the information to know you can't do anything. The opponents have all shown, and the only one alive on your team is a very low-health Akali. You should have escaped via top river immediately after finishing that turret. 27:00 The enemy team is definitely capable of throwing this game. Game end: They didn't throw. You never placed that pink ward. You warded 10 times total. You did more damage than anyone on your team, which is good, but your team at no time had any pushing ability. Your damage to champs on the other hand was very low, almost less than Sona, and we know that your Sona was not a good player.

was put in bronze 4 at placements, now in silver 3 in what? 2 weeks later? and still climbing. I would say just work on cs, with the new queue up you can pick your roles better, so focus on 1-2 champs really

Just looking at your past matches I can tell that you don't do well outside of the midlane. You play Vel pretty well. About 50/50 carrying or going negative. (Happens) sometimes teams don't align right. Warding seems to be an issue (I too have that problem)
