I think MMR is kind of pointless

I honestly don't think its right to place me in bronze 2 but force me to fight golds and silvers due to my mmr. If I'm in bronze let me play against bronzes its only fair. It sucks to get into my placements to silver several times only to get stomped by gold 4s until i tilt back to 0 lp. If rito thinks im good enough to play against these people fine put me in their elo so i can learn to play at that level. I play with golds and plats so I'm decent enough to carry most bronze games but i can't carry my bronze team against a bunch of high silvers and golds. On the off chance i also get silvers and golds on my team I usually get searched on lolnexus and forced to supp because who wants to trust a bronzie?

I love the MMR system because I prefer to play with people that are better than me - it's the only way you can get better. However, I don't think someone should be held down by their MMR. It'd be great if Riot would offer drastically more LP to players who have a much higher MMR than the average for the league that they're in.

Your allies will be of the same mmr as the enemies in soloqueue. If you are matched with silver/gold players, get a 50% winratio and you'll end up in silver/gold.

If you're playing silvers and golds, just consider yourself silver or gold. The tier you're supposedly in doesn't really do anything except when the season ends. Otherwise mmr is the only thing that really matters.
