Team mates refused a gank

So today I had a game as a jungler (Sion). When I thought I was ready to gank, I first pinged top warning them that I was coming. However he pinged me not to with quite a threatening message saying that if I push his lane he was going to beat me with... (I forget), so I was like ok, he doesn't need it because he was actually getting fed. Then a few minutes later I stayed in the bush in mid to gank, but again I got a ping. I thought, ah maybe they didn't need it yet. Same thing happened with bot, I hid in the bush then it was the ping again. That was really annoying me. I left. Then ez from bot said, I thought you were gonna gank? (Facepalm) I explained but they didn't reply. After that, there were 3 enemies bot, so I joined in, just trying to help. I admit I killed minions there too because I thought they were a bother, then ez came crying to me saying I taxed his lane and that he was behind because of me. So we lost the game and ez said it was my fault. That game gave me a rotten mood. Can I get some pointers, my dear friends? Thanks

I would gank anyways. That about sums it up for me.

Yup junglers are suppose to gank if they didn't then what is the point of them besides doing up to 1000 true damage to minions and monsters.

doing 1000 true damage to minions and monsters is what wins the game.

Well they could counter gank, counter Jungle, Kick the living crap out of the enemy Jungler, or take Neutral objectives.

But most of those are pretty hard if your playing Sion. So you have to play to your junglers strengths.

But if your teammates are refusing ganks because of a few missed CS, then they are probably bad, and quite toxic. If they do complain about missed CS, they probably weren't that good at CSing to begin with. And if they fear of you pushing wave. Probably means that they are not going to be a team player. And just play the farm game all day. (Assuming they were ahead to begin with.)

In my experience jungling Sion, I analyze the situation before I even get to the gank bush. I do that so that I know from which gank spot to come from (Tribush, River bush, or Towerdive bush). Then I ping my laner that I'm on my way, and one of three things will happen. They'll either stop pushing and start letting the wave shove back his own so that it's easier to do my job, and then start taunting the enemy laner by attacking him and goading him into fighting. Or they'll start shoving the wave into tower so we can towerdive, or....they do nothing, I see that they're doing nothing to set up for the gank, and I just never show up. Why waste time going up or down there if they aren't going to put in the time to try and set up a gank?

Don't play Sion.

Lol funny I thought the same thing a few months ago. Sion used to be a killer with his lifesteal and AD or AP. After the rework imo, he is more like a tank. I really struggled playing reworked Sion. However, I began watching videos or builds or guides for him and changed how I play him. It worked wonders! Especially if you get good teammates, you can really engage and push lanes. Even if you don't, if you build him right, he is quite tough thou not very deadly against tanky characters. Try him if you havent ^^

Here's my thought on ganking and taxing. If an opponent is pushed where I can get a summoner or kill for myself or laner out of it, I'm ganking (unless that opponent is super super fed and it would just be a double kill). I don't ping a warning saying I'm coming until I'm there and ready to go in. I'm going in. I generally give the kills over to the laner unless they won't get kill in time. If they don't engage with me I'll back off and tell them that next time they have to engage with me or else I could feed the laner unintentionally. If they downright refuse to help, I'll refuse to help them for rest of game.

As for taxing...if the gank is successful (aka we get a kill, or blow a summoner spell) I tax. Generally 3 minions depends on how long I was waiting for right time, etc. IF I got the kill, I don't tax. You get enough gold from the kill that there is no reason. But if only assist or summoner blown I tax. I tax more if I get no assist. As a jungler, your time is valuable. You don't level up as fast as laners before and gold is super precious since the enemy jungler can use that ganking time to counter and take your gold.

If I get screamed at by the laners I simply say it's a tax for my time and it's something all junglers do or should do. If they don't like it then don't give the enemy the freedom to push where I can gank.

If they are extremely rude I don't help them at all and will focus on a lane that appreciates it and needs it.

Easy answer...no one wants a gank....more farm....especially ok Sion who wants to just farm and then appear fe team fights

Thanks a lot for the ideas and thoughts! I feel better. I thought about forcefully shaving off Ez's beautiful golden hair. Lol.

Sometimes when I play Nasus or Shen top I tell the jungler at the beginning of the game that I don't want ganks unless I ping for help.

Reason being is that sometimes (a lot of times) I'm not ready for the gank. A lot of junglers just jump in and expect you to you help them. I recall a match a few weeks ago when I was playing Shen top. I was doing fine, farming well, wasn't bullied, harassed etc.

Our jungle (a Lee Sin) targeted trundle(my opponent) so I go in, land my taunt, Lee jumps them. Trundle runs for his tower and enemy jungler shows up(nocturn).

Lee gets out as do I, he runs for my tower, he maybe had 100hp not even. He qs back into the trundle with the nocturn right next to him for what reason I don't know and dies. Thr n flips out on me. I knew when to disengage but the Lee refused and got himself killed.

I think the key to jungling is to k ow when go in or not. Like to asses the enemy, look at their stats for a sec etc. But I could be wrong though.
