Sudden,temporary,lag spikes.(FPS, not PING)

So, I'm playing the game on my HP-Pavilion, updated to windows 10, with an NVIDIA GeForce 9100 graphics chip and it usually stays about the half of the time at the 50-70 frame rate. The other half it drops to about 3-7 fps, thus making the game impossible to play for that time period. Though, I'm on a wireless connection, the ping never goes above 25, and I don't think that these lag spikes have anything to do with my connectivity. I've set all of my displays, in-game, and graphics chip display, yet these lag spikes, albeit, temporary (lasting about 3-5 minutes), happen multiple times per game, whether it's summoner's rift, twisted tree line, or ARAM. I just want to know if anyone has ever suffered this, and/or if anyone has any possible solutions. Update: It now starts off at 50-70 fps, then about 5 minutes later drops to 3-7 fps and stays like that for the rest of the game.
