What about dragon that boost armor/MR
with the infernal dragon boosting the offensive champion, I think there should be a dragon boosting the tankier one too I thought maybe about a metal dragon or something like that

You need hp with the Armor/MR to be tanky + noone wants glasscannons to have better defense for free - there is a reason why ranged ADCs don't get MR per lvl...
