we seen before few months the two Roster Updates of "Marksman" role and "Mage" role and the current role they working on is "Assassin" role the question is .. are riot planning to Update "Fighter" - "Tank" - "Support" Roles after the past 3 roles update ? specially "Fighter" role because Fighters/Off-Tank suffers in the current meta and also it hard to include the "Juggernaut" Update , because it took only 4 champions specially , and not the role of "Fighter" as a whole ! which leaves many many fighters Out Of Meta and waiting to be to glorious as they were once.

fighters are in a good place right now. all they need to do is build tank/bruiser and they are good. one or two dmg items are all they need imo. <3

I look at roles as tank/dd/cc and those things you mention as classes, or playstyle choices.Certain classes are better for certain roles, but it all works out in the end. I would like to see some tanky support items added, as it is now they only have health boosts and I consider damage mitigation is preference for tanking.
