I AFK'd my first game on purpose today.
I have been playing this game for over 2 years. Late Season 5. I have loved this game dearly up until these "balance changes" in the midseason that instead of balancing has restructured the game entirely. I get it, you want to increase pick diversity. But your game has over 130 champions and you love to point that out. But guess what? In a game that you can only choose 10 champions per game, you are never going to be able to make it so you see them all 50% of the time. It's just not possible. You have not only completely changed the game for one role either. You have systematically tried to change your game week to week. You talk in your dev articles about how you want your game to be the same from patch to patch so more casual players can come back to a game that isn't entirely foreign to them. Besides blowing up the nexus as the objective to win, I feel that is not true at all. Jungle has different focuses, ADC is a role that can barely include marksmen as a class anymore, mid is some mutilated role where you have a talon with smite so he doesn't have to lane for advantages... You may not realize it when you release the patch, but after your umpteenth patch trying to restructure the game, not balance it... You see this actively make the game something it isn't. Point of the title being, I've waited months, months, for you to turn your game around. I have tried to play this game the way it has been for years at this point, and to no avail. You offer no insight or articles to what these changes are meant to be. For once you're completely silent on something and have nothing to say like this is normal. This isn't normal and this isn't League of Legends, nobody has tried to tell me otherwise. The threat of not playing the game for a while after I AFK isn't something to fear, it seems like a welcome respite. So that hopefully when I can play again, the game will be the game I know and not this new game Riot has had in open Beta for 2 months now.
