fizz's playful/trickster

so last night, I was playing Aurelion Sol vs Fizz and I wouldn't consider myself to be good at this game by any means but there was one instance where I stunned fizz with my Q, yet somehow, fizz managed to follow through with his E whilst he was stunned as in, he got stunned, and then, whilst stunned, stood on his trident the only conclusion that I came up with was that the fizz activated his E frames before he got stunned, so that when he got stunned the animation went through regardless? idk, just wanted to bring attention to it, and wondered if this happened to anyone else
