Forget about Viktor, Cass has been waiting FAR longer (1332 days to be exact since her last skin came out) and had a far greater impact on the competitive scene this season. If the victorious skin should go to a midlaner, it should be Cassiopeia. Period.

It's an incentive to play more ranked in order to get the skin, that benefits Riot.

well im happy... i dont play Maokai nor do i want to. but with "dynamic fail" this season, im glad they didn't make any victorious skin that matters. all them players who got themselves boosted to gold are going to be raging now. and i just find that funny

Well it's a free skin. Will I play it? No, like I don't play Sivir either. Cause I play tank supports or a midlane champion, which both lack a victorious skin (don't come with Morgana pls, she's more of a support for 2-3 seasons now)

Unless you're Plat or Diamond, you're playing about 15-25+ games to get Gold depending on skill level. Note, games that last 20-35 minutes, as someone who avidly breeds Pokemon and plays MMO's, that is a grind.

We certainly are paying for it just not with money. It takes people on average 100ish games to get to gold+. Thats like 60 hours of games.

better than one of those champs weve seen over and over and over again every game throughout the season. i understand that theyre usually giving it to champions who have been op in competitive play for a long time.

but first of all, its usually always the same champions, and second they get the team skins for the winning team at worlds.

i had hoped for victorious darius after he was played so successful at the last worlds, but maokai is a nice too.

at least its not fucking graves.

I love how people think Maokai is garbage and shouldn't deserve the skin even though he has been a prominent pick for quite a while now. He still isn't bad. It's just that he isn't dictating games with an organized team anymore.

Still can't believe they picked Maokai. So many meta prevalent champions this year and they choose the tree that was played a lot for maybe 2 or 3 months.
