Anyone else agree that the new progressions system is horrible ?

I know riot has graphs and stats showing you supposedly how fast you unlock more characters but it feels so much slower and you can't really save up for who you want because it takes so much longer to get blue essence( not always guaranteed) . It really forces you to spend more cash. Just seems like a huge money grab from Riot. Focusing on cash instead of players again. I don't want these random champ shards of bottom tier champs. I want Essence to unlock who I want. Anyone else feels this way ?

** yea i know this is a late post but it's so upsetting to me that I had to vent out my frustration somewhere**

Its possible it "feels" slower, but it has been shiwn that it is actually faster unless you play a ton of games.

In addition, they unlock much faster than you can truly learn them. I have 6300 BE and 8 6300 champion shards i havent yet used because I already have 8 ive unlocked that i havent played yet.
